Things are very unpredictable.
On one hand, you have a huge opportunity.
The pandemic has been like an injection of growth serum into the arm of Amazon and Ecommerce. We’ve literally seen 5 years of growth in months in e-commerce.
As uncertainties about when we can get over this pandemic continue, eCommerce has been the silver lining.

In 2020, I spoke with an Amazon broker and asked what type of multiples sellers can expect (Multiple = the number of times EBITDA a buyer is willing to pay). He said that a 3x multiple was considered good.
As of Q3 2021 according to Thrasio’s Kevin Flaherty, we are seeing multiples in the 5x to 7x range! This is more than double what buyers were paying in 2020.
If you want to be one of those sellers, you have to do X, Y, and Z.
Exiting your business could create generational wealth for some sellers who execute the right strategy to sell their business.
This is like the housing market and it definitely is a sellers market right now in 2022.
Even though the market is HOT, you need to be SMART about it to maximize your exit and NOT leave money on the table.
