We've Never Done Anything Like This Before

Recently one of my Amazon Japan listings got suspended. It was a newly launched ASIN in the same toy category as my previous selling ASIN.

However, a few days later, I got a notification from Amazon that the listing was taken because it was a “restricted product”.

This was strange because I was already selling another ASIN in the same product category and this product was a similar variation.

And we had already got approval to sell in this category.

So to get the ASIN back up I opened up a case with Seller Central. I described the problem, presented the facts, and asked that the listing be reinstated.

Long story short, after dozens of back and forth emails and messages (often being asked the same questions repeatedly, and being handed around to many different reps) I was still stuck with an inactive listing.

Here’s what I did to get unstuck.

I remembered that my friend Nick has been selling on Amazon Japan for many years. So I told him about my problem and asked for his advice.

He flat out told me to have a Japanese-speaking person call them.

What most people don’t realize is that Amazon Japan’s phone support is much better than their email and chat.

But you need to have a Japanese speaker because they didn’t have English support at the time.

So fortunately I had recently hired a Japanese VA so I asked him to do just that.

And it worked. A simple quick phone call solved the problem that took weeks of back and forth with seller central.

The key takeaway is that when I get stuck I don’t keep trying to bang my head against the wall.

The definition of insanity is trying to do the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

I reach out to my friends in the Amazon space who have done it before to get their advice.

I know this is missing piece of the puzzle for many sellers

That’s why I created 7 Figure Seller Summit Masterminds, Mentoring, and Masterclasses

You will get to connect with a community of sellers who can help you get unstuck, get unblocked, and move your business forward.

During the summit we will have THREE (3) Mastermind calls in a “Hot Seat” format.

Sellers will submit their #1 challenges beforehand and we will select a limited number of sellers to sit in the “Hot Seat” to get their businesses evaluated by 7 Figure Sellers and other sellers who have been there and done that.

We also will offer 3 Live Mentoring sessions led by 7 Figure Sellers and our speakers who will help answer your questions, offer motivation and support to propel your business forward.

And as a special sneak preview - This Thursday I will host a special Live Mentoring session on 8/25/22 at 8pm EST.

Come with your Amazon and Ecommerce selling questions to get answers from real sellers who have done it.

You might even meet a new ecommerce friend or a future mastermind or accountability partner.

You also will get a free pass to the 7 Figure Seller Summit next week as a special bonus.

All you have to do is sign up:

Hope to see you there!
Gary
